TwilightOh night, precious, secret night. Only you know my pain. When the sun sets, I let go,
And my emotions start to drain.
I have loved and been loved. I have kissed and been kissed in return. But now, alone in bed I lay, and all else is star dust. I am not missed.
I am a blurry memory, a picture turning paler. I am your first time, the mess of feelings you'd rather forget. I am pushed to the back of your minds, beside vegetables and politics.

Little ThingsNothing compares to your voice in the morning, And those ice-cube feet, down my back without warning, And you pulling the covers and me pulling them back, And fighting about whose turn it is to fight back, And making me coffee before I kiss you goodbye, Holding me so tight that I think I could die, Calling me at lunch when everyone’s on my nerves, Making me laugh ‘til I lose all my words, It’s little things like these that make me love you, And I know that I will ‘til the sky splits in two.
